In 1996, at the age of 8, Emily was invited by Gloria Gaither to play a part in Gaither's next children's DVD: Homecoming Kids Go West with Vestal Goodman, George Younce, Buddy Greene and Bill Miller. The DVD is 28 minutes long, made for all ages but especially for ages 7 and under. It was filmed at Aspen Lodge and Ranch in Estes Park, Colorado.
